Thank you so much to all of you that helped us out in our last tour, back in May. It's hard to believe that was only 3 months ago. So much has happened since then.
Ashley and I recently moved into a new house that has a kick-ass studio in the garage. It's not the average garage studio, it is completely sound proof, has 3 isolation rooms and a killer control room. I'm looking forward to learning more about recording...
About a month ago, I decided to have my dad come out from TX to CA to live with us. Unbeknownst to me, he was bound to a wheelchair and a bed and could not care for himself. It's been quite the rollercoaster. He's diabetic, has had a stroke, has hypertension and isn't the nicest guy, I'm vaguely recalling.
My dad and I didn't have the best relationship as I grew up. Buried emotions have reared their ugly heads and that has made it even harder to adapt to such an overwhelming situation.
Having said that, I've decided that Roger! will go on an indefinite hiatus while I figure out my next move. I'll keep writing songs, for sure. This has given me plenty of material. :) Talk soon.
